QGIS Plug In for Location Centre

We’ve now made it really easy for you to access Location Centre data from QGIS !

The QGIS Plug In for Location Centre helps you view and analyse your Location Centre data using the open source desktop GIS package, QGIS.

Linking your Location Centre data to QGIS unlocks all the functionality that GIS professionals need, whilst maintaining a consistent hosted database.

Faster and far easier !

The plugin allows users to log directly into Location Centre, without messing around with data services access tokens. You can also add in an automatic background with a simple single click button.

Search your Address Gazetteer

Whether it be the One Scotland Gazetteer, National Land and Property Gazetteer or a commercial gazetteer like OS AddressBase, you can search the same gazetteer using QGIS, allowing you to quickly locate the addresses you are looking for.

View your data

Using the Web Mapping Service (WMS) functionality you can import your data to use as a background map. All data that users have access to through Location Centre is available using the WMS function on the plugin.

Analyse your data

Using the Web Feature Service (WFS) functionality, you will be able to import your Location Centre data into QGIS to analyse, query and manipulate it, using all the functionality available in QGIS.
